Tea Till Dusk Rd 1 Deepcut
Play The Video With a full entry and a hot balmy evening it was going to be a good days sport even for a spectator like myself. The Deepcut venue with it sinuous single track huge steep climbs and abundance of exposed roots would provide the competitors with two hours of the finest going. After watching the riders nearly complete a lap I was surprised to see raining Tea Till Dusk champion James Jackmen in his van still putting his boots on after he arrived late, nice of him to give the rest of the competitors a chance but seeing Si Wakley ripping around the track he was going to face an impossible task to catch the numerous red number plates lurking around the course. Darren Wilcock, Rob Mussell and the NC crew put on another cracking event looking at the riders faces after the finish.

Lots of photos uploaded to the gallery if you want the original email me using the Contact Us form with image numbers and album.

My mobile went off right next to my ear I stumbled for it trying to unglue the sleep from my eyes

“Hello” I mumbled

“It’s me Si, aren’t you ready yet?” Quick glance at the buzzing alarm clock told me it was 6.20 am.

“Ok give me a minute; I’ve only gone to sleep two hours ago!”

Yep the usual story from me, I actually remember hitting the snooze button at 5.30, a frantic 15 minutes followed to get all the my gear together and load the YZ onto the bike rack and we were off, had a nagging doubt that I had left something behind.
