Dont feel intimidated by the engine reving behind you they are just making their presence felt, its up to the rider behind to pass you safely, but they want you to know they are there.
It is much safer for both concerned if the leading rider gives a little room...kick a leg out and just run wide at the next corner, cost nearly nothing time wise. Gets kind of sketchy going off line bar to bar on single track.

Update** I was informed the rider that goes flying past me was Daryl Bolter www.darylbolterracing.co.uk..if he tried that on my bike he would be sucking fluids through a straw for months  |

Good write up Tony..you need to get into the habit of lifting your elbows up a lot higher around corners.

One of the few makes of modern bikes I haven't owned..not for me really but they do look nice..yep the FE390 looks like a good compromise of power v weight. |

Cant keep Si behind me  he would just stuff me into a tree, first you shout politely for the rider to get out the way, 2nd time you show a wheel, 3rd time no more mr nice guy
Absolutely useless at trials, can't get on with modern trials bikes. |
